EDITOR'S LETTER
Designer Joe Nahem took an architectural gem and made it come to life from the inside out. Through his use of color, materials and furnishings, he took what was once a somber residence and turned it into a family house where both the couple and their grown sons and friends want to be.
Jack Pearson's residence in Water Mill is also a place where all want to congregate. When he saw this property, he knew it would be his new home. And everyone who visits can see why. The rooms reflect his fashion background and also the warmth of his personality.
Personality is what you will see when you visit our third Idea House in Water Mill. It opens August 4 and runs through September 4. It's the perfect place to get ideas for your own home. See how a diverse group of designers transformed an Arts and Crafts-inspired house into a signature design. We hope you enjoy this issue and we look forward to seeing you at our Idea House.
