Peggy Fruin, Hampton Design Interiors
Peggy Fruin is President and founder of Hampton Design Interiors (HDI), a kitchen and bath design and build firm. Fruin founded HDI in 1999 following a 20-year career in the fashion industry. A graduate of New York's prestigious Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT), Fruin managed merchandising and design for a number of well-known labels. In 1992, she started Whiteworks, her own label, selling to national retailers including Nordstrom, Nieman Marcus, Saks, and Bloomingdales. Whiteworks was later sold to Pine Shirt, a major garment manufacturer.

In 2005, Fruin opened the Hampton Design Center, located on Main Street in East Hampton. HDI offers its clients a complete and seamless design through installation service. Fruin and her team are dedicated to bringing the latest products and materials to its clients. From cabinetry to countertops, tile and plumbing fixtures, HDI is capable of delivering to all price points and styles.
