Prior to founding her own firm, Hall spent many years in various facets of design. She received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Cornell University, majoring in painting and photography. She spent four years working with Kenneth Jay Lane, a preeminent costume jewelry designer who was in the forefront of television retailing. After studying interior design at the Fashion Institute of Technology, Hall spent seven years as an associate at the Rockwell Group, designing many award-winning projects including restaurants, hotels, spas and residences. This diverse background influences her design philosophy, known for a bold use of graphic form and color.
