2007 HC&G IDEA HOUSE TOUR

Inspired by the classic Colonial Revival and shingle-style houses built in East Hampton village between 1880 and 1930, the 2007 Hamptons Cottages & Gardens Idea House, located on the former Warner LeRoy estate in Amagansett, showcased the visionary ideas of more than 20 emerging and nationally known designers under the direction of Brian Brady and Franco Biscardi. Designed by architect Steven W. Semes, A.I.A, and built by Richard Gherardi of Sand Dollar Development, the Idea House was open for tours in July and August, but lives on in these pages.
