THE 2008 HC&G IDEA HOUSE
June 1, 2008
THE 2008 HC&G IDEA HOUSE DESIGN TEAM
Unlike previous HC&G Idea Houses—all spec houses—the 2008 HC&G Idea House in Sagaponack combines a 150-year-old farmhouse with a new modern wing (see "Project" HC&G May 2008). Developed by ModernGreenHome, it's slated to be one of the most environmentally friendly houses ever to rise in the Hamptons.
Design director Kyle Timothy Blood of Kyle Timothy Home, LLC and editorial director Barbara Dixon enlisted 23 talented design firms. As Blood explains, "The architects and designers we've chosen are all experts in their fields, creating interiors that are innovative and environmentally sensitive while having a cohesive design flow as in past years."
The public will be able to see the flow when the Idea House opens with its gala on July 25. Come visit on Thursdays through Sundays till August 24th.
