EDITOR'S LETTER

Fast Lane

On a recent weekend I zoomed from Bridgehampton to North Haven to Amagansett to Water Mill to Southampton and back to Sagaponack before returning to East Hampton. Did I mention I drove through Sag Harbor and wanted to browse? I didn't have time. Quogue and Montauk were also part of the plan, but I didn't make it there, either. Next time. That is one thing I am trying to remember: I do have a next time. I have one of the most enjoyable jobs. I get to look into your homes and taste the many different lifestyles and design styles that reside in this part of the world. I hope you are able to slow down and enjoy this issue's tastes.
