Homes—predicts that "the Long Island Expressway will inaugurate a Platinum Lane for high-wealth drivers." Whatever your credit limit, though, one thing's certain: To paraphrase Michael Shnayerson, the lovely light that first drew people to the Hamptons years ago will keep shining far into the future. While we look ahead with our guest writers, we also glimpse back at some of our memorable pages.
