EDITOR'S LETTER

It's All in the Ideas

Finding perfection is all about process, and it is an individual pursuit. Designer Betty Wasserman has utilized the getaway house that she and her daughter Milly escape to in Southampton for testing designs she has used not only there but also in her practice and for her BettyHome line. (You can't tell me three-year-old Milly didn't help her a little, even if it was just for inspiration.)

A team that works hand in hand, although they don't always see eye to eye, is Pino Luongo and Mark Strausman. To spend time with them is to spend time with two culinary geniuses. Individually, their talents shine through, but when you put them together their personalities and culinary concoctions reach new heights. To enjoy their food and their banter, see them on their PBS show and companion cookbook, The Two Meatballs (out next spring). Their recipe ideas are endless.

Now that we have shared our ideas with you, we hope you will share your ideas with us. We always love hearing from you. Till next time...
