LETTER FROM THE CEO

Phone Home
[Marianne Howatson]

WE ARE NEARING THE
end of summer 2010, when the Hamptons revived in all their glory.

There wasn't a hotel room to be had in August, restaurants were packed and all the events we were involved with produced record attendance. At HC&G we are up 106 percent in advertising revenues.

During this time, we have been working feverishly on our new website, which we plan to unveil soon. It's all a bit hush-hush right now, but suffice it to say, we are very excited and look forward to serving you with more frequent web updates, dynamic content, videos and features to complement what you already love in the magazine. If you wish to be notified by email when the site goes live, please sign up at hcandg.com/newsite.

As we integrate new technology, we're including tools that allow us to serve you on whatever device or platform you want to use. One example that allows magazine readers to quickly access video and other multimedia content on their mobile phones is the JAGTAG.

It allows users to scan a barcode in the magazine and receive customized multimedia, such as the behind-the-scenes video of Greg Yale's home in this issue. Look for the JAGTAG on page 85 of the magazine.

This will give you a taste of some of the nifty whiz-bang tools you'll be able to use to sell your products in next season's HC&G.

See you in our holiday issue, which will be out by Thanksgiving.

Marianne Howatson
CEO/Publication Director
